Louisiana State Tourism

The French Quarter is New Orleans's oldest and most famous neighborhood. Its beautiful buildings go back as far as 300 years. The streets are filled with people shopping, dining, and looking for entertainment. The area is packed during the yearly Mardi Gras celebrations. Mardi Gras is a holiday celebrating the upcoming lenten season it also includes parades and feasts. Now come visit the French Quarter!

French Quarter, Louisiana

The National WWII Museum in New Orleans gives a deep look at every aspect of the conflict. From the ground war in Europe to the battles in the sky and sea. one of the most impactful exhibits is "Road to Berlin", Where visitors have the chance to be immersed in the battles of World War 2. Other exhibits include an exploration of the obstacles overcome by all sides. Exhibits are also full of personal stories and photos. as well as a large collection of artifacts, including solders gear and guns.

WWII Museum 

Louisiana's Old State Capitol makes a dramatic impression on visitors passing by and it's equally impressive on the inside. Two huge towers flank the entrance. The building, which resembles an old castle. The building is set on a hill that overlooks the Mississippi River in downtown Baton Rouge. This landmark houses a political history museum. The museum includes artifacts, documents and interactive exhibits that explore Louisiana history. Louisiana's new capitol is now the tallest in the country!
